How I (simultaneously) navigated Small Claims and Criminal Court
A series about my experience navigating two court systems at the same time both a result of a series of sexual assaults and other abuse I was forced to endure. One as a victim-witness in Canada’s criminal-legal system and the other as a claimant in a Small Claims Court. This may be helpful for anyone wanting to learn more about these two systems from the perspective of a survivor of sexual violence.
